Last updated: 5 July 2026
1. Purpose
These General Terms of Sale and Use (the "Terms") govern the use of the "Who am I?" website, accessible at whoami.syntropic-studio.fr (the "Site"), as well as the sale of the paid personality report offered on the Site. Any use of the Site and any purchase imply full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
2. Seller identity
The Site is published and operated by Maxence CORGIER, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) operating under the trade name SYNTROPIC, 13 rue Transversale, 69009 Lyon, France. 3. Description of the service and product
The Site offers a personality test based on the Big Five model (OCEAN), made up of 40 questions drawn from the IPIP items (public domain).
- Taking the test and accessing a free preview (archetype and brief summary) are free.
- The full report (the "Report"), which is paid, includes a detailed analysis of the five main traits, facets, an indicative positioning, thematic sections and a downloadable PDF file.
The test and the Report are provided for information and personal development purposes. They do not constitute a diagnosis or medical, psychological or professional advice, and cannot be a substitute for it. The results are based solely on the answers declared by the user.
4. Access to the Site and eligible audience
The Site is accessible to any person aged 15 or over. Purchase of the Report is reserved for adults with the legal capacity to contract. A minor may only purchase the Report under the responsibility and with the prior authorization of the holder of parental authority, who then accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf.
5. Ordering
The purchase process is as follows:
- the user takes the test and accesses the free preview;
- the user chooses to unlock the full Report;
- the user confirms the waiver of the right of withdrawal (Article 9) required for immediate access;
- the user is redirected to the secure payment page of our provider Stripe, where they enter their email address and payment details;
- after payment confirmation, access to the Report is unlocked and the Report is sent to the user by email.
The sale is deemed concluded upon payment confirmation.
6. Price
The price of the Report is 9.90 euros. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code; as no VAT applies, this price is the net amount payable. The applicable price is the one displayed on the Site at the time of the order. The publisher reserves the right to change its prices at any time, orders being invoiced on the basis of the price in force at the time they are validated.
7. Payment
Payment is made online, by bank card, through our payment provider Stripe. Payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe over a secure connection. The publisher has no access to bank card numbers and does not store them. The order is only validated after payment confirmation by Stripe.
8. Delivery and access to the Report
The Report is digital content supplied immediately. After payment confirmation:
- online access to the Report is unlocked without delay;
- an email containing a durable access link to the Report, together with a PDF copy, is sent to the address provided during payment.
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a valid email address and, where applicable, to check their spam folder. The access link allows the Report to be viewed at any time, subject to the continued availability of the service.
9. Right of withdrawal and waiver
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer is in principle entitled to a period of fourteen (14) days to withdraw from a distance purchase.
However, pursuant to Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium where performance has begun after the consumer's prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
Before any payment, the buyer expressly requests immediate access to the Report and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the Report is unlocked. This waiver is collected expressly and time-stamped. Consequently, no refund may be requested on the basis of the right of withdrawal once the Report has been unlocked.
This clause is without prejudice to the legal guarantees (Article 10) and to the right to a refund in the event of non-conformity of the Report.
10. Legal guarantees
The buyer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and services (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). In the event of a lack of conformity of the Report, the buyer may obtain that it be brought into conformity or, failing that, a price reduction or a refund, under the conditions provided by law. These guarantees apply free of charge and independently of the waiver of the right of withdrawal. For any request: contact@syntropic-studio.fr.
11. Liability
The Report is generated automatically from the sole answers declared by the user. It is intended for information and personal development and does not constitute medical, psychological or professional advice. The publisher cannot be held liable for decisions made by the user on the basis of the Report.
The publisher does not guarantee that the Site will be free of interruptions or errors and cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from its use.
12. Intellectual property
The content of the Site and of the Reports is protected by intellectual property law. Purchase grants the buyer a personal and private right to use the Report, excluding any reproduction, distribution or commercial exploitation.
13. Personal data
The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the order and the use of the Site is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint: contact@syntropic-studio.fr. The publisher undertakes to respond as soon as possible.
15. Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, a consumer who does not obtain satisfaction after a written complaint addressed to the seller may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The seller is affiliated with:
La Société Médiation Professionnelle, Alteritae, 5 rue Salvaing, 12000 Rodez, France. Website: https://www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr
The mediator may only be contacted after a prior attempt to resolve the dispute directly with the seller.
16. Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by French law. They are drafted in French and English; in the event of a discrepancy in interpretation, the French version prevails. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable or mediated resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.
17. Amendment of the Terms
The publisher may amend these Terms at any time. The Terms applicable to an order are those in force on the date of that order.
